TONY VANCE admits that managing the ambitions of his travelling local players this Boxing Day will be vital, as his two Bristol City loanees are again named.

The Guernsey FC manager has named a 14-man squad for the festive trip to Ryman South League leaders Dorking Wanderers, the first time that his side have ever played on Boxing Day.

With the loan duo of Kodi Lyons-Foster and Jake Andrews almost certain to make their third starts, that will mean those left out of the starting XI are local lads.

‘Now, we have a squad that has a lot of big names in it and the reality is that a couple of them are going to have to be on the bench, so it is a situation we will have to handle and deal with well,' said Vance.
