Saturday's 3-1 victory at Chipstead was the Green Lions' first successful away match since 12 December 2015 and it also crucially drags them eight points clear of the Ryman South relegation zone.

Robbie Legg had given GFC the lead before the hosts came up with a 75th-minute equaliser.

But both Dom Heaume and Ryan-Zico Black came off the bench to score and secure the win.

'To be honest, we should have had the game won a long time before and not needed to score twice in the final quarter-hour because we were excellent all afternoon and well on top,' GFC manager Tony Vance said.

'I have been playing with my hands tied behind my back for a long time now and finally those hands were loosened today, particularly with naming five substitutes who all offered genuine quality and you have seen the result of it.
