Green Lions move nine points clear of drop zone

Three days after their long-awaited away victory at Chipstead, they came mightily close to another success, but ultimately had to settle for a 3-3 draw at Sittingbourne.

After a delayed start, the hosts led on three separate occasions on the Kent coast, but Tony Vance's young side showed character in abundance as each time they dragged it back level.

Dom Heaume grabbed the first equaliser before Jake Andrews netted the seventh and eighth goals of his loan spell from Bristol City.

Guernsey FC are now nine points clear of the relegation zone with a home match against Ramsgate coming up on Saturday.
