THE drama surrounding the potential of re-instating the Women's Muratti has taken another twist with the Guernsey FA offering Ormer's players a possible 'solution'.

But that mystery solution is, the Guernsey Press understands, more than simply potential Muratti players having to pay an additional £100 subscription to the GFA on top of the £75 fee they are already paying at Ormer, to be accepted into the GFA's own run Guernsey Ladies Football Club and therefore become eligible for the big game against Jersey.

As it stands, the scheduled match against Jersey still remains cancelled, but the GFA has said they will 'revisit the situation subject to a positive response' to their new proposal.

What the GFA are quick to emphasise is that contrary to claims from Ormer earlier this week, 26 of their players have not been signed on for either Rovers or Sylvans.
