NENA COPPERWAITE has urged the home crowd to be Saffery Panthers' 'eighth player' as they face a crunch Division Three South clash on Sunday.

For the first time this season the Sarnian outfit are playing at Beau Sejour and the visitors in a big encounter between third and fourth place, are Woodley.

Panthers currently lead that battle for the final play-off spot by a single point with just three games remaining, but with both sides also yet to face second-placed Meon.

'This is a massive game for us, so hopefully we can get a really good crowd down Beau Sejour to create a good atmosphere that Woodley won't be used to,' said Panthers captain Copperwaite.

'Hopefully they can be our eighth player for a game that if we win, then really sets up well for the final couple of games of the season that we have left.'
