THE best emerging CI developed talent will be on show at Footes Lane this morning as Steve Melbourne's Guernsey Rugby Association squad attempt to retain the Inter-Insular trophy.

Both islands have named young teams, Jersey particularly so.

Guernsey have been forced into late changes owing to illness and injury, and the late withdrawals of Alfie Penny (Colts) and Ben Le Noury (St Jacques) has meant a move from the bench for Brad Webb (Colts) and Alan Myers (St Jacques) into the starting XV.

A late fitness test on Colts star John Le Noury this morning will determine if he can be included in the starting 22, if not then Shane Taylor, a player with considerable GRFC 1st XV experience, prepped to come into the squad.

The Guernsey team will be led by veteran Alec Bailey (pictured) and has a good balance of experience in the pack that is supported by a young and exciting back line.
