Dodd proves as adept in attack as he is in defence
THE best defender in the island had his shooting boots on at Blanche Pierre Lane last night as Jamie Dodd proved to be St Martin's match-winner in dramatic fashion.

He struck twice in the second half, including an excellent 89th-minute winner, as the home side overturned a half-time deficit against Sylvans to win 2-1 and stay, mathematically at least, in the hunt for the FNB Priaulx League title.
Sam Murray had given Sylvans a deserved lead on 7min. after the Westerners started much the brighter, but they failed to double their advantage and Saints fought their way back into the game.
