JORDAN REYNOLDS has held his hand up to take the lion's share of the blame for Guernsey's defeat to Bury St Edmunds last week.

In announcing his side for tomorrow's home match with Westcombe Park, the GRFC head coach re-emphasised that he wished to take nothing away from Bury, who deserved their 24-12 victory at Footes Lane, but added that his side 'made some bad decisions' which left them with a mountain to climb at 24-0 down inside 20min.

'We made a meal of it last week when victory would have got us into a good position in the league with the fact that Tring lost as well,' Reynolds said.

'I have taken responsibility for it along with the senior players because we know what we lacked in leadership in that game.

'Last week, we played like we did three years ago rather than how we should have evolved in this league over the last couple of years and that's a leadership issue.

'It does come down to how we prepare during the week and how we played last week reflects on how we prepared.'
