I AM an avid sports fan and I follow quite a few sports, but the sport I follow the most is football. I avidly follow a Premier League team and try to go to most of their home games, which logically and geographically, can be challenging. I am that much a fan of this team that it was a factor when deciding what English university I attended. So, it probably comes as no surprise that I am mildly interested in how the local Guernsey FC team is doing. At present, the word terrible comes to mind.
