ST PETER staged a late comeback to overturn a 2-0 deficit and defeat St Martin’s 4-2 after extra-time in Saturday’s Jeremie Cup semi-final played on the KGV 3G. Goals from Kyle Smith and Matt Renouf had given the home side the lead before a James Carolan penalty gave the visitors hope with six minutes remaining – and then Dan Grills equalised to force the extra half-hour in which Harry Cardwell and Jake Prince scored to complete the turnaround.
