Richard Forsey, 52, pictured, started his jail term yesterday after the Royal Court sentenced him to six years. His work pension will be liquidated to repay the debt.

Nearly half the prison sentence related to charges for downloading 568 child pornography videos and 38 images.

Whilst police were carrying out a child pornography investigation, they discovered some unusual payments from Guernsey Electricity, where Forsey had worked for more than 25 years and was the company’s billings and collections lead.
