POLICE are investigating the death of a man who was found with head injuries at La Vallette on Thursday 8 May. David Saunders, who was 52, was found lying on steps opposite the Underground Military Museum at around 8.50pm. He was taken to hospital and died on Tuesday. Mr Saunders, who had no permanent address, was 6ft 2in. tall, with a proportionate build, dark-brown short hair and brown eyes. He was unshaven and could have been wearing glasses. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances but were anxious to trace anyone who might have seen him in the La Vallette area during the evening of Thursday 8 May.
