LES QUENNEVAIS of Jersey unceremoniously dumped St Jacques out of the Worthington's Hampshire Plate at the weekend. Guernsey's all-blacks lost 86-7 as Les Quennevais, last year's winners of the Hampshire Bowl, ran in 16 tries on their home turf.
St Jacques' points came from a Matt Chammings try, converted by Richard Fyfe. It was the last score of the game, coming in the 81st minute.
Tomorrow's scheduled Hampshire One league game between Isle of Wight and Guernsey has been held over to February due to the World Cup final.
Unbeaten Guernsey are top of the table with Isle of Wight lying second.
Guernsey's next game is against Farnborough at home on 6 December.
