SARNIANS' teams scored a hat-trick of victories in the latest round of Condor Group League matches at Beau Sejour. In the top flight, Sarnians One made very light work of beating Ship & Crown with a final score of 82-21.

Sarnians Two were next to claim five points, comfortably overcoming a depleted Guernsey Motor Spares, who happen to be their closest rivals in the Division Two table.

GMS did well to gain a consolation point, giving a spirited performance.

But it was always going to be Sarnians' night and with inspired defending from player of the match Sam Collins (GK) and superior centre court work, there was plenty of ammunition for the shooters in a 47-29 win.

With the Division Three title riding on these second- stage games Sarnians Three needed to beat PricewaterhouseCoopers after Autumn Gold's defeat at the hands of Nerine Trust H.

The first half could not have been closer, with the interval showing a 20-20 scoreline.

The final quarter was to be the decider, though, and it was Sarnians who forged ahead to win 38-35.

Autumn Gold were bitterly disappointed to lose to Nerine Trust H by just two goals.

They started as the stronger team and by half- time were ahead by nine.

Nerine were a different side after the break and used speed and agility much more effectively, linking centre court to shooters Kiara de Carteret and Kate Seabrook, who with devastating accuracy brought the score to almost level pegging.

The closing quarter saw Autumn Gold flounder under pressure and Nerine made full use of every scoring opportunity to finish two goals ahead.

Elsewhere, in Division One, Nerine Trust A and D beat B and E respectively while Barclays Masters got the better of Nerine Trust C.

In Division Two Abacus lost out by a single goal to Nerine Trust G.

Heritage One battled hard against P. & J. Conse-rvatories who, although being a new team are not without considerable experience.

This shone through in the form of centre and player of the match Nikki Luscombe, who controlled centre court and inspired her side to a 47-40 victory.
