There was action aplenty in the latest round of matches in the Condor Netball League in an effort to catch up with games abandoned or postponed due to bad weather. Nerine A quickly despatched Nerine Trust E in a good-natured game that ended with a score of 67-12 and Sarnians One did much the same with Barclays Masters although the latter worked hard enough to gain a consolation point.

Nerine Trust B collected five easy points from Ship & Crown thanks to a walkover.

In their second scheduled match, they beat colleagues Nerine Trust C.

Nerine B 'borrowed' Amy Wright from Division Two and she proved her worth, helping to secure the win with her outstanding defence skills.

She also bagged a player-of-the-match nomination along the way.

Chandlers dominated their game against Nerine Trust D. They relied heavily on the skills of C Hayley Brehaut who played with obvious experience and linked well with her teammates.

Nerine's GD Rachel Guille effectively hampered her opponents in the circle but could not stop the flow and the final whistle declared Chandlers the winners by 11 goals.

Division Two saw wins for P&J Conservatories and Sarnians Two.

They are still vying for the top spot but Guernsey Motor Spares have dropped behind: they were beaten by K&R Flooring.

Nerine Trust F stay in third position after beating Rothschild.

Nerine's GD Lyndsey Bougourd banked her ninth player-of-the-match nomination, putting her firmly in the running for the Division Two player-of-the-season award.

Meanwhile, Heritage Two fought off Nerine Trust G in what started off a fairly even match.

Heritage pulled ahead in the second quarter to lead by six goals.

Nerine staged a fine comeback to trail by just one going into the final quarter.

Heritage's GA Vicky Gill battled with her opposite GD Kelly Leaman and both were rewarded with player-of-the-match accolades.

It was to be Heritage's victory, though, and they pulled away to win by a clear 10 goals.

Sarnians Three sit pretty at the top of the table in Division Three with a four-point lead over rivals Autumn Gold and Nerine Trust H.

How long this will last is anyone's guess, however, as all three top teams have suffered shock defeats during the course of the season.

The latest round of matches had no surprises, however, with Sarnians comfortably beating Nerine Trust J, Heritage Two falling to Nerine Trust H and PWC wiping out the hard-working youngsters Nerine Trust K.
