Smith heads Division One table

DANIEL SMITH reigns supreme at the top of Division One after the Guernsey Youth Bowling Club's first rotation. Remarkably, Smith dropped only 1.5 points out of a possible 75 and finished with a fine 183 game average.

Matt Southwell finished in second, having scored a fine 212 game and 582 series, while third-placed Matt de Carteret scored 206-494. Smith ended with a high game of 212 and a 532 series.

Kayleigh Marquis, the highest-placed girl in fourth, scored 168-417 but that was bettered by Stephanie Hale, 169-479.

Sam de Carteret (199-455) won Division Two with Joseph Cowans (148-404) in second and Chantelle Hale in third.

The latter took high game for the season with a 180 as well as high series of 484 and highest average of 128.

Marie-Claire Savident was the highest-scoring girl in the last round with 139-365, followed by Stephanie Lowe 125-327 while Sebastian Lowe also scored well with 134-376.

Louise Savident (120-309) won Division Three with Simon de Mouilpied (161-399) in second and Jordan Priaulx (110-309) in third.

Grant Kelling also scored well with 129-292.

De Mouilpied took high game, series and average titles for the season while Savident took high game and series for the girls and Priaulx the highest average.

n?Andy Le Lerre was the overall winner of the Young Adults' Club League with Steve Presland second and Paul Hurel third.

Some remarkable scores have been achieved on a much more challenging lane condition, the most notable being games of 290 from Le Lerre, Presland's 288 and 256 by Carl Roussel.

High series of the season went to Jim Skaith with an excellent 649 while Presland took highest average with 176.

Chloe Gunton-Bunn recorded an extremely good 266 game with a 660 series taking the honours for the girls and maintaining a 163 average. Danielle Le Couvey also bowled consistently well throughout along with an improving Katy Roussel.
