Things didn't really take off for Sarnians until the second quarter when they forged ahead by a narrow margin.

In defeat, Nerine E played well against Nerine B.
The latter took an eight-goal lead in the first quarter which they advanced to 16 by half-time.
But Nerine E refused to roll over and with some excellent linkage between player of the match GA Kate Seabrook and GS Kirsty Young they managed to push up their total to be in with a chance of a consolation point.
The final quarter saw them come out fighting and they continued to make good progress in claiming their point in a 28-51 defeat.
In Division Two, Guernsey Motor Spares maintained their unbeaten run with a win against Nerine Trust G and Nerine Trust F defeated K&R Flooring with GS Kiara de Carteret chalking up the first of her two star player nominations on consecutive evenings for her accuracy in the circle.

In a match in which the scores were neck and neck for the duration, Autumn Gold left it until the last quarter to put their stamp on the game and pulled ahead by three goals just in time for the final whistle.
