A SUPERB spell of bowling by Adam Hindle was not enough to stop the Hurricanes from making it three wins from three games in the PwC Under-15 Colts' League. Hindle's four overs yielded just eight runs but James Mullen and David Hooper saw the Hurricanes to victory against a spirited Sharks side.

In the other game, the Bears' 119 proved too many runs for the Panthers who could never keep up with the rate.

Elsewhere, the top-of-the-table clash between the Panthers and the Bears in the PwC Under-12 Junior League ended in a comfortable win for the former, with Isaac Damarell top-scoring with 36, ably supported by George Moss (18).

There were also runs again for Oliver Tapp (37) but William Jackson took three wickets and the Panthers secured victory by 16 runs.

Tom Still proved a real handful for the Sharks taking three wickets and scoring 18 runs as they condemned the Hurricanes to their third successive defeat.

In the PwC Under-10 Development League, the Hurricanes and Bears both won and share top spot with the maximum four points from two games. The sides meet in the next round in a top-of-the-table clash and with Josh Butler and Adam Law again in the runs, the fixture looks to have a competitive edge.

'The players are starting to get a feel for the game with the running between the wickets improving every week. It's a difficult game to perfect, but their awareness of the game is getting better,' said Tim Belton, the Guernsey under-nines' manager.
