'Jonno' dinner visit sealed
ENGLAND'S 2003 World Cup-winning captain, Martin Johnson CBE, will be making a short visit to the island later this month.
ENGLAND'S 2003 World Cup-winning captain, Martin Johnson CBE, will be making a short visit to the island later this month. The two-time British and Irish Lions skipper will be the guest speaker at a charity dinner being held on Wednesday 19 January at St Pierre Park Hotel as part of his testimonial year.
The event is being supported by the Kraken Group.
Legendary lock forward Johnson, who has retired from international rugby but still captains the Zurich Premiership leaders Leicester, is currently managing to mix his playing commitments with attending functions all over the world, such as Bermuda, Dubai, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
