LA FRATERNELLE All Stars have kept their hands on the Division Two knockout trophy. They defeated Goldridge Estate Agents by a comfortable 20 points, 59-39.

Goldridge started well but the All Stars bounced back to finish the opening skirmishes five points ahead, mainly through the driving of Michael Lum and Nigel Govett.

By the end of the half the match was virtually over when Andy Battle rattled in two three-pointers in quick succession and the All Stars imposed their control on the game.

Both sides traded baskets in the second half, but Goldridge, short of top players, could not string together a series of points.

Lum and Govett ended with 16 points each.

The first of the semi-final matches in the Yorkshire Guernsey Leagues first division knockout between Collins Stewart and the Island Juniors was too one-sided for anyone to be enthralled for long.

Collins Stewart blitzed the Juniors 31-4 in the first quarter.

After that there was only one conclusion but to their credit the Juniors just about broke even after that, finishing at 110-71.

Nine of Simon Le Blancq's 31 points came from outside the arc.

Andy Maiden stole 23 points from under the basket and Antoine Saffari made 18 with simple drives to the ring.

The second semi-final was an altogether different game with both Rothschilds and Le Mont Saint vying for the final with nothing between them.

Whenever one side took an advantage it was quickly closed until five minutes from time, with the scores locked at 59-59.

Rothschilds took a firmer grip on the game and shut out Le Mont Saint for three minutes to go nine points ahead, which they successfully maintained until the whistle and a place in the final.

Kerry Smyth registered 21 points and with Lee Ogier adding 16, Rothschilds just had the edge over Le Mont Saint's James Tracey, who contributed 18.
