DAVE MATTHEWS is unlikely to reveal his Muratti line-up until the day of the game, while Steve Ogier was due to tell his squad last night who was in and who was on the bench. Darragh Duffy, Bels' Irish striker, was stuck in Jersey and did not train on Thursday evening, but Ogier has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Monday's game in front of the first all-seated crowd in the 100-year history of the competition.

While the UK-based firm were transforming Foote's Lane into a four-walled sea of red seats, apart from the original light blue ones in the Garenne Stand, the two managers were mulling over their final selections.

While Guernsey are expected to play 4-4-2 and give first Muratti final starts to Duffy and youngsters Sam Cochrane, Dominic Heaume and Olly McKenzie, Jersey were being tipped to go with a 3-5-2 formation by Evening Post football correspondent Andy Bradshaw.

He expects a recall for St Peter's veteran defender Trevor Le Maistre and Scottish's Craig Ferey to benefit from the facial injury to his Upton-winning colleague, Ryan Lumsden.

Stuart Andre is a certain starter, predicts Bradshaw.

Trinity's David Le Roux and Scottish's Ross Crick could form a two-man attack with the inspirational David Brodie playing the holding role in a midfield five alongside Ged McConnell and skipper Chris Andrews breaking forward and James Hayward and John Fitzmaurice in the wing-back roles.

'I think he will go with a more attacking left-back with Fitzmaurice there. He's played there before and got the experience,' said Bradshaw.
