STEVE OGIER and his coaching team are trying to second-guess Jersey before naming their starting line up for the Centenary Muratti replay. He will name the same squad from the original Muratti game apart from Jody Bisson who is out with injury along with Trim Morgan and Ian Potter who are both unavailable due to personal reasons.

Add to this that Jersey will be without a number of key players, Ogier will wait to see how they will shape up before deciding his line up and formation.

But he is decided on a couple of issues.

'Nathan Pattimore will be starting instead of Bisson,' he said.

'Sam Cochrane will come in for Pottsy, but Morgan's replacement we're still deciding but we've got some ideas.

'It will probably be Dominic Heaume who plays in the middle and then we will need to fill the right midfield position.

'For that I reckon we've got three options either Darren Martin, Matt Le Cras or Joby Bourgaize.'

With regards to how Jersey will line up, Ogier believes that they might change from their 4-4-2 formation that they used in Guernsey to go to a 3-5-2.

This does not concern the manager as his team has played against teams in this formation before.

'With the players that they have got missing, they may go to a 3-5-2 formation with Brodie in a holding role,' he said.

'We're trying to cover all the angles. If they do play something different we will adjust accordingly.

'We've already played against three sides in the South-West Counties competition this season that were 3-5-2 so it's nothing different.'

Ogier will call on his men to be more creative in the replay.

This was something that was clearly missing from the first game, but he is not prepared to leak goals in just to be able to score goals at the other end.

'We'll still be tight defensively,' Ogier said.

'But we will be more imaginative when going forward and we will try to open them up and break them down.

'We've got some ideas and we will see how it will pan out on the day.'

Meanwhile Ogier's opposite number across the water, Dave Matthews, is having more serious selection worries as unavailability, injury and suspension have ravaged his squad.

Five players from the original squad are out and include

influential midfielder Ged McConnell, who can't play due to family commitments.

That is a real blow to the Caesareans.

The other four are defenders Craig Ferey and Chris McNabb - who are both out of the island - suspended fullback Kevin Crowell and Paul Aitken.

Should this match end in a draw after extra time, a penalty shoot-out will be held.

n PLACES are still available on the special Muratti boat being put on by Condor Ferries.

The return journey costs £25 for adults and £15 for children.

The boat leaves St Peter Port at 12.50pm tomorrow and tickets can be purchased at the White Rock.

On the boat, match tickets will be for sale along with return coach transfers from the harbour to Springfield.
