TOTAL COBO remain on course for two big showdowns with old rivals Clubhouse Optimists to decide the destination of the Rozel Shield. Stuart Le Prevost's team maintained their unbeaten record in Barclays Evening League Division One with a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Aon St Saviour's at the KGV.

The sky blues were bowled out for a mediocre 64 as they failed to bat out their allotted 18 overs.

Blane Queripel started the misery with the first ball of the night that got rid of Nev Scott and four deliveries later Richard Veillard was heading back to the pavilion following an excellent catch from Jamie Nussbaumer.

The opening bowler performed outstandingly and finished with three for seven.

His replacement Kris Moherndl had an indifferent night with his radar, but as a general rule, he took a wicket when he got it straight and ended up with four.

Mark Culverwell and Gary Rich all took a wicket apiece.

Peter Vidamour hit 35 not out and TJ Ozanne, coming in at three, smacked two sixes in his 16 as Cobo cruised home in less than 10 overs.
