While others shred PBs, Robyn flies to victory in a new record

ROBYN LE FRIEC set a new record in the 200m butterfly event of the NRG Series for senior members of the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club. Despite being outside her personal best, she recorded the fastest time of the day overall as well as setting a new championship record in the 14/15 age group of 2-31.15.

Fastest time of the day for the men came from Thomas Hollingsworth who posted 2-10.67.

The 12/13 section was won by Joshua Lewis and Victoria Parfit recording 2-57.64 and 2-50.45 respectively. The greatest improvement in this event came from Leo Chamberlain, also in the 12/13 age group, who recorded 3-13.23 to place second, improving on his personal best by more than 28 seconds.

Jeremy Osborne won the 14/15 age group in a personal best time by over eight seconds to record 2-24.45.

Lauren Judge won the 16-plus title, reducing her PB by 24.29 seconds to record 2-53.80.
