Queripel wins on return to top flight

GILL QUERIPEL played her first game of the season as the veterans of Nerine C maintained their excellent start to the campaign. Queripel showed she had not lost any of her shooting accuracy but it was fellow shooter Denise Bourgaize who earned the player-of-the-match nomination as the C side overcame their D team 33-23.

The champions, Nerine A, thumped MeesPierson Reads Sarnians 71-10 with Lorna Brown starring for the winners and Olivia Meggy for the losers.

In Division Two, Zoe Spencer was the pick of the Nerine E squad that defeated Nerine G 34-7, while in Three HSBC inflicted the only defeat on an Nerine side in a depleted programme, win-ning 42-11 with Katherine Stone the pick of the bunch.
