ANDY BAILEY has admitted his side can no longer keep looking for excuses and need to find the winning habit once again. The Guernsey captain leads his troops out against bottom side Weybridge Vandals in London Three South-West tomorrow at Foote's Lane (kick-off 1.30pm) demanding nothing less than two league points.

'This weekend has turned into a must-win game for us. You could say now is the time to put up or shut up,' Bailey said.

'The ball has not bounced our way on several occasions this season. In our last home game, we were unlucky when we had a man sent off and I am certain we would have won that game otherwise.

'But we cannot keep looking for excuses. It has all come down to these last six games.

'We have still got four home games left including this one and if you look at the table, with two or three wins, you suddenly find yourself in mid-table.'

The naming of the Guernsey team was delayed while the selectors waited on a couple of fitness checks, but one player definitely missing is St Sampson's teacher Paul Livesey who is away on a school trip.

His loss has been softened by the return to the squad of Jim Elliott who missed the defeat away to Winchester.

Matt Morgan is also unavailable.

The Sarnians will be out to avenge a 23-12 defeat inflicted on them by Weybridge early in the season.

'From what I remember of them, Weybridge like to kick drop goals and draw a penalty out of you,' Bailey said.

'If we can get a good win under our belts, hopefully it will drive us on to a few more.

'We have not become a bad side overnight, we have just forgotten how to close games out.'
