GUERNSEY'S under-12 squad travel to Scotland today to compete in the British Primary Schools' Championships. The eight juniors, who are being supported by RBC Abacus and the Guernsey School Sports Federation, will come up against players from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man.
Alice Loveridge will be defending her title after winning singles gold last year at the event held in Cardiff where the Sarnian boys' team won a silver and Oliver Langlois claimed a singles bronze.
'The children have all been practising extremely hard for this event and are all looking forward to the experience of playing different players,' said Guernsey's development officer Becks O'Keefe.
