Bailiff toasts our Games stars

GUERNSEY'S Com-monwealth Games stars were given a personal 'thank you for your efforts' by Bailiff Geoffrey Rowland yesterday when he hosted a Vin d'Honneur in their honour. 'Those of us who were there have all got our very special memories of Melbourne,' Mr Rowland said.

'But the people back here were also awfully proud of the achievements of our competitors and I think they had every reason to be proud.'
