MCC secure a comfortable win

THE MCC bowled Elizabeth College out for exactly half their score to secure victory at the College Field yesterday. The visitors racked up 222 for three before declaring, with college skipper Ben Ferbrache picking up two of the wickets and Luke Nussbaumer the other in a marathon 24-over spell.

The hosts got off to a poor start in reply and although the middle order offered stiffer resistance, the match was lost before the final 20 overs had begun.
