GUERNSEY will be undertaking extra training this week after suffering a heavy defeat on Saturday. Captain Andy Bailey described the performance away to KCS Old Boys as 'really disappointing' and said that his troops will be doing a technical session on Wednesday to work through a few points.

'We had a pretty honest talk after the game and said that we have to draw a line under the game but at the same time we have to realise that we are not going to be given anything in this league, we have to work for it.

'We got delayed in traffic and only had 40 minutes to get changed and warm up, which was annoying but it's no excuse.

'Basically, we were second to everything,' Bailey said.

The Sarnians were not helped either by the loss of Mark Elliott early in the game with a fractured collarbone.

'Our wingers are going down like flies at the moment,' said the captain.
