Two 200m IM records fall

JOSHUA LEWIS and Victoria Parfit each set a new championship record in the 200m individual medley event of the NRG Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club. Both competing in the 12/13 age group, Parfit swam a personal best time of 2-32.14 which was also the best female performance overall, with Lewis finishing just outside his best in 2-30.86.

Matthew Allen and Rosie Le Friec took the 14/15 categories, with Jeremy Osborne and Rachael Le Page taking the 16-plus titles.

The greatest improvement overall came from 12-year-old Rosie Grimes who placed third in her age group in a personal best time by more than 32 seconds, touching in 3-04.70.
