ISLAND GAMES rider Stuart Le Tissier showed that his preparations for the season and July in particular are on track with a comfortable victory in the Guernsey Velo Club's time trial contested over three laps of the hilly reservoir circuit. Le Tissier's time of 52min. 27sec. gave him the win by almost two minutes over Chris Le Page.

A superb ride by James McLaughlin was enough to take third place from Tim Holmes by 10 seconds, with Tim Martin completing the top five.

Callum Hill-Smith was the only other rider to break the hour and did so with a strong ride for sixth place.

Newcomer Oliver Tracey rode well over the demanding course to beat Allan Renyard and Dave Lancaster.
