TOBYN HORTON has won an elite cycling race in Belgium.

TOBYN HORTON has won an elite cycling race in Belgium. Competing in a 115km event in the town of Beernem, the Sarnian triumphed in a time of 2hr 37min after a sprint finish. The 20-year-old took gold in the Rhodes Island Games criterium race and is living in Belgium until October to concentrate on his sport.
'It's actually my favourite race of they year,' he said of Beernem.
'It has wide roads, few corners and it suits me because it's a fast race.'
