HEATHER WATSON helped Great Britain finish seventh in the Tennis Europe Winter Cup at the weekend.
The 15-year-old Sarnian was one of a three-strong team, with Tara Moore and Nicola George, who were in action in Ronchin, France, at the girls' under-16s finals.
They were drawn to play fourth seeds Italy on Friday when Watson, who was playing after recovering from a stomach injury, went down in the opening singles 6-3, 6-2 to Nastassja Burnett, who was to remain unbeaten over the three days.
