TWO of Guernsey's most talented young cricketers say they have learned valuable lessons on a tour of a lifetime to India as part of the ICC European Academy team.

Cobo and senior Guernsey players Blane Queripel, 21, and Kris Moherndl, 19, who also play football for Sylvans Priaulx side, have returned to the island much more knowledgeable about the game.

They spent 10 days out there with cricketers from five of Europe's 27 ICC associate and affiliate member countries – Gibraltar, Ireland, Israel, the Netherlands and Scotland.
