CORINTHIANS comfortably got one over their Wanderers stable mates St Saviour's last night in Barclays Wealth Evening League Division One at the KGV.

Batting first, St Saviour's were bowled out for a miserly 91 in the 17th over, which Corinthians knocked off for the loss of two wickets.

Corinthians' captain Dave Piesing was full of credit for his side, which contained juniors Tim Ravenscroft and Tom Kirk. 'It's good to have an injection of youth,' he said.

'We've been an old side for a number of years.' Piesing's best bowler was seamer Eddie Sherbourne, who returned figures of four for 28 from his five overs.
