With the first round of scheduled matches abandoned two weeks ago due to bad weather, Wanderers and Cobo made a belated winning start to their group campaigns and edged towards the semi-finals.
It was a fine all-round team performance from Ben Driver's men at the KGV as they disposed of the Jersey champions by 14 runs on the Duckworth/Lewis method following a short rain interruption.
Ross Kneller was the main contributor with the bat for Wanderers, scoring a well-compiled 55 after his side had been put in to bat.
