Greens awaiting fate

GUERNSEY have a month to wait before finding out where they will slot into the World Cricket League ladder.

The Sarnians have been able to watch only from afar as Jersey have taken part in the Division Four tournament being held this week in Tanzania, knowing that at best they will need to qualify from at least two divisions to reach that level.

'The Division Seven tournament will be in the first half of 2009, Division Six in the second half, so that the top two from Seven will go into Six.
