SIR CLIVE WOODWARD has said that he has no goal for the number of Great Britain gold medals at the 2012 London Olympics.

The 2003 World Cup-winning England rugby union coach, who is now the director of elite performance for the British Olympic Association, was the guest of honour of last night's Guernsey Sports Commission Gala Dinner at Beau Sejour.

The GB Olympics team surpassed all expectations in Beijing two months ago when they came fourth in the medal table and yesterday they paraded around London with their prizes.
