LEICESTER Tigers coaches will return to Guernsey next summer to run a week-long course for young players to improve their skills and rugby understanding.

Tigers have teamed up with Jersey-based fund managers Ashburton to run the course at the Guernsey Rugby Academy between July 20 and 24 next year.

It will be the third time that professional coaches from the Tigers community team have run a course on Guernsey. The course will give young players the opportunity to improve their skills at all aspects of the game.

Scott Clarke (pictured), the , Tigers community manager, said: 'This will be our third visit to Guernsey to deliver a rugby week. The previous visits have proved very popular, with the young players showing clear improvements in their game.

'The team at Ashburton have pulled out all of the stops, allowing us to work with the Guernsey Rugby Academy to maximise the potential of the young players attending. We aim to build on the work of last year and, with the ongoing support of Ashburton and the Guernsey Rugby Association, deliver the most challenging and rewarding week yet.'
