MARC MCGRATH scored a hat-trick on his St Martin's debut, but Bels showed few signs of missing him on Saturday.

Micky Ogier's men hit 11 past Rovers on Saturday at Port Soif to once again narrow the gap between them and Division One leaders North to two points.

Meanwhile, former Bels striker McGrath (pictured) scored all Saints' goals in their 3-1 win over Vale Rec at Blanche Pierre Lane.

'I'm a bit chuffed with that,' said McGrath.

'It's a new challenge coming here and I feel revitalised. I'm just enjoying it again.

'I thought we dominated the first half and then we took our foot off the gas in the second half, but it was still a good team performance. A win is a win at the end of the day.'

In Saturday's other Division One game, Sylvans came back from a 3-1 half-time deficit to take a 4-3 lead against Rangers before Shane Billien scored a late equaliser at St Peter's.
