DAWN MORGAN (pictured) won a thrilling last-set decider to clinch the British League Division Two table tennis title for the Sportingbet Guernsey women's side.

The championship chase headed by Guernsey and Leeds Ladies went down to the very last set of the last match in Bristol, but Morgan held firm to snatch a 3-3 draw for the Sarnians, enough to pip Leeds by a point.

'I'm elated,' said team captain Kay Chivers.

'We worked really well as a team. It was a really good team effort,' she added.

Guernsey came into the match heading the table by a point and wins over St Andrew's (4-2), Woolwell (5-1), Southampton West (5-1) and Staff Ladies (6-0) put them in the position where they would take the title with a draw against Leeds.
