GARRY CORTEZ (pictured) has said that there could be a fixtures crisis if the snow stays, but the GFA fixtures man is not worried at the moment.

Following the four inches of snow that fell on Sunday night and with even more snow falling last night, there is currently no chance of any football being played on any of the island's football pitches.

Last night's Under-16 Development League match between Vale Rec and Sylvans at the Corbet Field has had to be rearranged.

But Cortez said that there is only one match per night this week and those could also be easily rearranged.

'The only time I get worried is if I lose a whole month,' he said. 'The snow is a test of my resilience.'
