New outfit Sure they will be a future hit

A TEAM new to the Praxis Winter League are feeling positive about their future.

Having registered the team for the first time in September, Sure are currently second in Division Three.

They have been battling to get to the top of the table and are feeling confident about the rest of their campaign.

'We're happy with how it's gone so far and we're hopeful for the rest of the season,' said vice-captain and GK Natalie Carre.

'This is the first time a few of us have played in the winter league, and since school for a few.'

In their most recent game the team were triumphant against a six-strong Marlborough Trust.

Both captains were missing for the second time the two teams met and Marlborough were short of a full squad due to illness.
