MATT JENNINGS has a real fight on his hands tomorrow night.

The island's number one boxer, who turned 32 this week, is topping the bill at the open show.

It is always a spine-tingling experience when the Western Counties champion walks to the ring in a barmy Beau Sejour and the Guernsey crowd are set to be entertained to the hilt this year as their favourite has an opponent who will certainly push him to the limits.

Tony Conquest was the number three-ranked cruiserweight in the most recent Four Nations rankings.

The fight is being dubbed as the 'Beau Sejour War'.

'It's going to be hard,' said Jennings (pictured) . 'It will be a tough night of boxing with four two-minute rounds, but I've been training since before Christmas with that in mind. I've not seen him box but I know he's quite a good, clever boxer.'

Not too much is known about the 23-year-old Conquest.
