Some 155 swimmers from 44 different clubs have entered the event, which starts this evening at 6pm at Beau Sejour.
Competitors are coming from Southern Spain, Switzerland, Germany, France, Wales, Jersey and England.
A large number of the swimmers are either current or former world, European or British, Spanish, Swiss or Welsh record holders and or world/European champions with a number of them former Olympians.
About 40 non-swimming spouses are also coming with the 110 visiting swimmers.
In addition, there is a record number of Guernsey swimmers with 19 from Beau Sejour Barracudas and 27 from Guernsey Swimming Club, the organisers.
