SARNIANS Sid Le Maitre (pictured) and Ian Merrien joined a world-class field in the quarter-finals of the Atlantic men's pairs championship at Johannesburg yesterday, when they defeated a strong Israeli duo, Allan Saitowitz and Boaz Marcus, 22-10.
