KIMBERLEY GOODALL has joined Dale Garland in ruling herself out of next month's NatWest Island Games.

The star of the 2003 Games in Guernsey and winner of six individual and four relay golds, has lost her battle to beat a back injury and has withdrawn from the team.

'It's very frustrating. I can jog, but that's about it,' said the runner (pictured) who has sought various treatments but, as yet, not solved the problem.

'I can't run quick. It's a shame because the girls team is very depleted.'

Garland pulled out last week for personal reasons.
