LUCY BEERE'S golden year shows no sign of dimming.

But there is one broad-shouldered shadow threatening to wreck her hopes of another prestigious title, her boyfriend Matt Le Ber.

The couple will meet in the final of the first new Open Press Singles competition after comfortable victories in the semi-finals held at the Guernsey Bowling Club's Beau Sejour Green in fine weather conditions.
