COBO are closing in on another Barclays Wealth Evening League Division One title.
They brushed aside St Saviour's with a nine-wicket victory last evening at the KGV to move back to the top of the table with two games remaining.
Richard Veillard had given his side a good start with a knock of 49 opening the innings, hitting seven boundaries in the process, but Cobo pulled things back in familiar fashion.
Spinners Luke Nussbaumer and Gary Rich were both commendably economical at the death to restrict Saints to 115 from their 16 overs.
TJ Ozanne and Kris Moherndl ensured that there were no alarms at the start of the reply, adding 73 before the latter fell to Ross Kneller.
Jamie Nussbaumer joined Ozanne to see their side home with four overs to spare.
Meanwhile, at Port Soif 10-man Grant Thornton pulled off a fine victory over St Pierre.
Set 133 to win, with Arun Ayyavooraju having made 60 not out for Saints, Grant Thornton reached their target with two balls to spare, thanks largely to vital contributions from Paul Finn (34) and Pete Inniss (33).
